A career banker, Martin began his Career in 1975 as a junior banking officer, and he served his apprenticeship by working in all areas of retail banking. After rising to senior management level, Martin left the bank to incorporate his own financial services company in 1990.

His visionary approach toward banking led him to develop Finance For Life, which has evolved to become a broad and far reaching financial services provider that covers all personal and business financial requirements from home and business loans to retirement planning.

Martin has chosen a strong team to lead each area within in the business.

He also brings to Finance For Life all that he values in life – experience, challenge, fairness, honesty, integrity, long term relationships and enduring friendship to provide product and service second to none.

Graeme Baird

With an extensive background in banking and mortgage finance, Graeme’s role is to ensure the smooth progress of loans from application to settlement. “It’s all about getting it right”, he says. “This business is based on teamwork, loyalty, integrity, and individual service.”

Graeme’s banking career commenced in 1976 when he joined the Rural Bank and worked in suburban and city branches as a Branch Loans Officer. He moved on to the State Bank, travelled around the state visiting clients and then became a branch manager, a position which he held until he left the bank in late 1991 to join Goldram Financial Services.

Along the way, while working full-time, he undertook part-time study and gained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Macquarie University, majoring in commerce in 1983.

He specialises in documentation and handling loan applications and keeps up to date by constantly liaising and negotiating with senior lending credit people, and enjoys “working for the customer.”

Samira commenced her career as a client relationship officer for a financial advisor, with a passion for assisting clients in consolidating their superannuation & retrieving any lost superannuation. As first point of contact for clients she was required to manage the client’s needs with the financial planners.

Her background entailed consolidation of Super Funds & the breakdown of personal insurance, liaising with fund managers, passing security checks, ensuring client details where correct on customer relation management programmes and specialising in customer relationship management ensuring all financial requirements by clients were allocated to the appropriate department.

Samira joined the team at Finance for Life with the same drive & passion to help the individual get to their desired financial goal. She assists our loan team with processing & liaising with our lending credit people, to get things moving quicker & smoother for our clients.
